abduction in festival mall...

there's a blog entry from one of my contacts' friends saying that her nephew was abducted in festival mall.  this isn't a joke and she, her brother and their family is frantic with worry. her nephew is sickly pa daw and only about 3 years old.  please read her blog entry and, if you know of a way to help, please do!

  4. after reading this, i'm hesitating bringing the kids to any crowded mall... definitely not bringing them all at the same time coz they're magulo and i don't want to risk losing any of them, even for a few minutes.

i lost gabe for a few minutes in polo about a month ago and my heart all but stopped. it was during mass there (11am at the main lounge) and i know it's safe, but the not knowing where he was just got to me. his yaya was on day off and the other two were with the boys (one in the bathroom and the other with my mom, sitting down somewhere). i thought he was with my mom and when the yaya came to me asking where gabe was, i tried to remain calm, but was medyo frantic. tab arrived from parking the car and he told me that he didn't see gabe anywhere. i sent the yaya to look for him (tab wouldn't let me get up from my chair coz i was contracting from the stress) and she found him at the front entrance. later on, the doorman (who's been there since i was a teenager) told me that he saw gabe and was watching him naman. i love him! he told gabe to go in to look for me in the main lounge. he even took hold of gabe and made sure he didn't run outside...

  5. i guess the moral of the story here is always hold on to your kid. and to watch them like a hawk when you're out. i cannot imagine what the parents of that little boy is going through right now... it's just too horrible a thought.
